CONNECTING WITH CHILDREN TO REACH THEIR POTENTIAL

Welcome to Pediaprogress

Our phenomenal team of therapists honor your child's curiosity while using a multi-sensory, creative, evidence-based approach to motivate children to self-monitor their skill development. Offering pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy. Caregivers participate in the session or watch from a monitor in the waiting area.  We are in-network with BCBS PPO, Aetna, & Cigna.

Telehealth & In-Person Therapy & Evaluations

Now offering telehealth and in-person therapy and evaluations at our office in Downers Grove.  Call 630.929.0122 to schedule a physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech-language therapy appointment.

EVALUATIONS

To determine your child's strengths and needs, an evaluation must be completed prior to starting occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech-language therapy.  We may accept an evaluation which has been completed in the past SIX MONTHS by a licensed therapist at another outpatient facility.  We create a treatment plan, with detailed goals based on the results of our evaluation, observation and parent concerns.  If your child has not had an evaluation from a licensed therapist in the past six months, we will complete one before starting treatment.

Our licensed occupational therapists (OTs) provide effective pediatric occupational therapy and produce significant gains in children's fine motor, visual motor, self-regulation, organizational, sensory processing, motor planning, and handwriting skills.  We use a variety of approaches to teach self-regulation and self-control. Using a holistic perspective to working with children, our team arranges the child's environment for success and incorporates families into the treatment process. We support families to adapt their home environment to fit their child’s needs.

Our licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to improve your child's communication at home and in the community.  We  evaluate and treat children's articulation,  phonological (speech sound) skills, language comprehension and expression, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), stuttering, feeding / oral-motor, and auditory processing skills. Through speech therapy and language therapy, we embrace family relationships, encourage self-monitoring of skills and respect the emotional needs of children while supporting their intrinsic motivation.
