Our licensed pediatric occupational therapists (OTs) help children engage in their daily "occupations"—the meaningful activities that support growth and development. These include play, dressing, eating, bathing, following routines, writing, and social interaction. Using fun, motivating, and evidence-based techniques, our therapists foster significant improvements in fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, self-regulation, sensory processing, motor planning, coordination, and handwriting.
Taking a holistic approach, our team creates supportive environments for success and actively involves families throughout the treatment process. All of our OTs are credentialed by the State of Illinois Early Intervention Program, enabling them to work with children from birth to age three and their caregivers. We also assist families in adapting their home environments to better support their child's unique needs.
